Boston ABC’s Nina Bradley has suffered a split decision defeat to Hannah Robinson.
She travelled with her family and a Boston coaching team to compete on a show in Hartlepool at the weekend.
Bishop Auckland’s Robinson proved a stern test, but this is to be expected now ‘Boom Boom’ Bradley is competing as an Elite boxer.
The contest got off at a face pace, both girls testing each other to the limit.
In the second round both girls’ offensive combinations were having little or no effect on each other.
The outcome was too close to call, but Robins on edged it in the judges’ eyes.
Boston ABC also travelled to Attleborough ABC for the second time this season.
Mathew Mooney faced J.J. McCone from Bridgewater ABC -
Mooney started strongly and took an early lead, but he didn’t have it all his own way as McCone was a fine competitor.
As the bout progressed, the Boston pugilist edged closer to the result as he was cleaner with his work rate.
These accurate shots caught the judges eyes and Mooney earned another unanimous verdict.
