Adrianna Finch is hoping to book her place on the England girls’ boxing squad.
The 16-year-old trained with the team at their Sheffield headquarters this weekend.
And she impressed coaches so much that she has been invited back for further trials later this week.
If she continues to catch the eye, the Boston Amateur Boxing Club youngster could become a regular on the international fight scene.
Adrianna was picked out by the England squad during her recent bout in the National Youth Championships final, where she was beaten by Molly Perkins of Birmingham’s Second City ABC.
But despite the result, the England coaches liked what they saw from the Boston Bull.
Adrianna’s 13-year-old sister Angelica is also showing promise in the ring and will box in her age category of the National Youth Championships this weekend.
