BOSTON boxer Callum Johnson jetted out to Los Angeles this week to learn from some of the world’s top boxing trainers.
And he wasted no time acclimatising himself to Californian life.
In just his first 24 hours in the glitzy city that is home to Hollywood, he found himself rubbing shoulders with some of the movies’ top hard men - Sylvester Stallone, Jean-Claude Van Damme and Arnold Schwarzenegger.
And if that wasn’t enough, he also bumped into the British pop band The Staurday’s.
“First day in LA not bad,” Johnson - nicknamed The One - joked on his Twitter account.
But there is hard work to be done while out there.
The light heavyweight has travelled out with six other members of Manchester-based Gallagher’s Gym, plus trainer Joe Gallagher, for some hard graft.
While in LA, Johnson has been put through his paces by Freddie Roach - the man behind Amir Khan and Manny Pacquiao.
He will also be doing some work at a gym owned by five-division title holder Floyd Mayweather jnr while in the USA.
