Members of Black Sheep Archers have been picking up trophies.
The club took part in a weekend of field archery hosted by the Liberty club at RAF Lakenheath in Norfolk.
Lynne and Mark Hanson, of New York, teamed up with Ed Kirk to win the team event, and in doing so claimed a carved eagle trophy for their overall highest combined scores of any sighted class.
Also picking up awards for the Revesby-based club were Polly Scarbro, Chris Paddon and Lynn Hanson.
Polly won the Junior Barebow and Chris finished first in the Gents’ Compound Unlimited.
Lynne then finished third in the Ladies’ Compound Unlimited.
A total of 23 club members and friends of Black Sheep Archers took part in the event.
The hot weather added to the difficulty of the 42-target course and a steel plate target, with only a five-inch safe scoring zone, tested the nerve as well as the skill.
