Boston Tennis Club’s Dominic Beesley has won a Grade Two National Tour event in Sutton.
Beesley was in top form in Surrey, beating Christian Kensis 6-2, 5-7, 10-5 in the under 18s final.
Boston’s Matthew Gedney lost in the first round of the under 10s event to the eventual winner, but won the consolation event.
Gedney also won the under 10s East Anglia Junior Open.
At Sutton Coldfield, under 16 Henry Beesley lost in the final of a grade three Regional Tour event.
In the Lincolnshire Slazenger Doubles League, Boston Fifths - David Makins, Courtney George-Jones, Peter Elphick, Michal Chmielik, Sam Felipes and Jeremy George-Jones - beat Boston Sixths - Richard Woods, Doug Motson, Toby McDonnell-Woods, Zafar Khan, Charles Tupper and Maurice Lawrence - 9-0 in Division 3B.
Boston Men’s Seconds (Calum McCaig, Callum Simmonds, James Newton and Ryan Frankish) lost 6-0 to Grantham in the Aegon Team Tennis County Division One.
