BERNICE Wilson has qualified for the semi-finals of the 60m sprint at the European Indoor Athletics Championships.
Running in Paris this morning, Wilson clocked 7.30 secs as she finished second in the final heat of the morning.
The semis will be run later this afternoon.
Bernice arrived in Paris believing her best is yet to come, and hopefully the 26-year-old - who ran a personal best of 7.25 secs two weeks ago - can turn on the style this afternoon.
If she progresses further, the final will be run tomorrow.
Wyberton sprinter Wilson is competing in her first major championships for Great Britain.
Bernice’s teennage teammate Jodie Williams - who has run the fastest GB time of the year, 7.24 secs - also qualified for the semis in a time of 7.31 secs,
