Boston ABC’s Charlene Middlebrook and Nina Bradley were both on the card at a show hosted by Islington ABC on Friday night.
Middlebrook faced Demi Carter and, using the ring cleverly, she boxed well.
However, Carter was equal to the task and, after three competitive rounds, the home fighter won on points.
Also on the same bill was former national champion Bradley, whose rugged style is always troublesome for opponents and good to watch.
Opponent Cherrell Brown was visibly affected from the vicious body shots Bradley was throwing, but Brown came out on top and took the points win.
Ashley Goddard and James Teft boxed on a show in Grimsby, at the popular Beachcomber Hotel.
Goddard faced A. Sayd and boxed well in every round, troubling his opponent on every offensive.
Sayd found Goddard too strong to handle as Goddard received a standing ovation at the final bell, before claiming his winner’s and Fight of the Night trophies.
Teft faced John Lazenby of Grimsby, but lost on points.
Deimantas Safonovas made his debut at East Hull ABC against Connor Gleason of the hosting club.
Deimantas boxed well, his learning in the gym highlighting his skills.
However, he lost out this time, losing on a unanimous points verdict to Gleason.
Fellow Boston fighters Harry Britton and Coby Brown travelled to Cambridgeshire, competing on March ABC show at the Braza Club.
Britton found his opponent in fine form but had success in the later round, finding his way through the long offensive of R. Manning.
However, Manning finished stronger.
Brown boxed well but an early first-round body shot from opponent Ricky Tanner, of the March club, never allowed him to gain the upper hand, with Tanner taking a unanimous win.
Travelling to South Normanton ABC, Callum Hancock faced home-town fighter R. Facey.
He never really troubled Facey but gave a good account of himself.
