Tommy Upsall sucessfully defended his Notts and Lincs challenge title, defeating Pete Smith with a unanimous decision.
Smith, of Scunthorpe Centurions, laid down a challenge in a top-of-the-bill bout on his home show.
This match was made at four two-minute rounds and both boxers were eager to get started.
The first round was a messy affair as Smith led with his head and used holding tactics to unsettle Upsall.
Both corners changed tactics for the second round, with the Boston ABC man throwing good hooks to the body and head.
As Smith realised he would need to up his game to claim the belt, Upsall had his man in trouble, a strong back hand hook catching Smith.
Upsall went into the final round the fitter of the two.
Smith was clearly struggling to stay the pace, Upsall easing through to see his hand raised.
