BOSTON Golf Club professional Mark Skinner produced his best competitive round of the year to win the Lincolnshire PGA Pro-Am at the Lincoln Golf Club on Friday.
Skinner made seven birdies on the way to a five-under-par 66.
The only blemish to his scorecard was a double bogey seven at the par-five 15th.
Skinner took a three-shot victory over fellow Boston pro Sam Dawson, who finished tied for second place with Woodhall Spa professional Scott Emery, shooting a two-under-par 69.
Sunday’s medal was won by Dave Carter, playing off four and recording a nett 70
