In the Boston Indoor Bowls League, Eastenders saw off Jolly farmers while Holland Fen remnain two places behind.

Jolly Farmers 22 (0) Eastenders 66 (6): LEADERS Eastenders had no problems seeing off the challenge of Jolly Farmers as Bunny Reeson, Matt Whyers and Paul Flatters won 46-7 and Keith Tointon, Adrian Field and Jonathan West were successful 20-15.

Woodhall 25 (0) Holland Fen 55 (6): HOLLAND Fen remain two points behind as skips Mick Tomlin and Gary Morris won 27-14 and 28-11.

tumpers 26 (0) Cosmos 43 (6): COSMOS, in third, beat Stumpers as Dave Carrington, Sue Simpson-Shaw and Les Feary cruised home 23-10 and Royce Reynolds, Colin Palmer and Keith French won 20-16.

A40 36 (2) Royal Mail 37 (4): ROYAL Mail beat A40 as Jo Sharp, Carol Clarke and Keith Sharp won 24-13 as John Dawson, Gill Grant and Jean Cammack replied 23-13 for A4-0.

IBC 24 (0) Carlton Road 46 (6): CARLTON Road skips Roy Vinter and Chris Gill won 20-13 and 26-11 for victory.

Invaders 37 (4) Freelanders 25 (2): A 23-10 success for George Phillips, Peter Hoyles and Scott Whyers earned victory for Invaders. Landers’ Ron Thacker Paul Scuffham and Jeff Nicholson replied 15-14.

Punchbowlers 21 (0) Kirton Town 43 (6): LEADERS Kirton Town picked up six points. Jeff Homewood, Jill Smith and Dorothy Hawkesworth succeeded 29-7 while Phyl Bourne, Ann Kemp and Gordon Gallichan added a 16-14 result.

Boston Park 19 (0) Feathers 51 (6): SECOND-placed Feathers eased past Boston Park, skips Geoff Dawson and Ian Smith winning 18-12 and 33-7.

Golfers 32 (6) Swineshead 29 (0): GOLFERS won all the points from third-placed Swineshead, Barry Williamson, Ron Hulley and Derek Marshall (16-15) and Mick Nundy, Dave Gill and Graham Scarboro (16-14) winning.

Norprint 28 (0) Patriarchs 50 (6): NORPRINT’S three-match run of picking up maximums finished as Patriarchs’ skips Alan Bristow and Alan Woods won 27-13 and 23-15.

Strollers 24 (0) Breakaways 43 (6): PAULINE Richardson and Ivan Dilley won 20-11 and 23-13 to claim six points for Breakaways.

Fairways 24 (0) Amateurs 51 (6): AMATEURS gave themselves a little bit of breathing space at the top with a maximum points win against Fairways. Olive Fenner, Jim Fenner and Mick Greet (30-8) and Dale Elsam, Tony Nixon and Barbara Bambridge (21-16) earned victory.

Burtons 40 (5) Crowns 35 (10): SECOND-placed Crowns had a miserable evening as Brian Bates tied 18-18 with Dave Bailey for their only point. Chaz Newham picked up the rest of the Burtons’ points with a 22-17 win.

Vikings 33 (2) Autos 35 (4): THE Autos closed the gap in third spot with an overall win against Vikings, Janet Barton Dave Gardner and Derek Butwright winning 28-12. Vikings’ Janet Loughran, Ray Loughran and Pete Jacklin won 21-7.

Highflyers 32 (2) Shipmates 37 (4): HIGHFLYERS fell to fourth after losing to Shipmates. Flyers’ Anthony Tabor, Malc Rogers and Barrie Trigg won 20-11 but Betty Taylor, Pat Robinson and John Balderson claimed the extra points (26-12).

Traders 32 (2) BBC 36 (4): BBC won the additional points thanks to Edna Priestley, Lavinia Renshaw and Ted Vere winning 17-12.

Sibsey 29 (3) Central 29 (3): SIBSEY and Central shared the points. For Sibsey, an 11-10 win earned them three points, while Central responded with a 19-18 success for Katie Tointon, Lee Archer and Harold Best.

Lincolnshire County Leagues

THE mixed team started their season with a home victory against Horncastle, 13-5.

The Trudy Bates team were at home and beat Skegness 12-4.
