Bowls league’s top two resume winning ways

The Boston Indoor Bowls League returned from it’s Christmas Break with the top four sides facing each other in the Mill Inn Division One.

Second-placed Holland Fen dismissed third placed Carlton Road 6-0, the same score leaders Eastenders beat A40 by.

A similar story at the foot of the table saw bottom team Freelanders falling 6-0 to Royal Mail while second-bottom Kirton Town also fell 6-0 to IBC.

Half Pints beat Invaders 4-2.

In the T&B Containers Division Two, leaders Punchbowlers record another 6-0 result over Amateurs to go 16 points clear.

Second-placed Swineshead beat Norprint 4-2, third team Strollers lost 4-2 to bottom-placed Boston Park, second-bottom

The Crowns recorded a healthy 6-0 win over Patriarchs, Parthians beat Breakaways 6-0 and Golfers beat Feathers 6-0.

The Cammacks Division Three leaders Poachers lost 4-2 to High Flyers, Autos won 6-0 against Fairways and Shipmates, Shipmates then lost 4-2 to BBC, Hotspurs lost 5-1 to Vikings, Burtons won 6-0 over Central and Sibsey tied 3-3 with Traders.
