BOXER Callum Johnson has been named as the Lincolnshire Sports Personality of the year.
He received the accolade following Thursday’s Lincolnshire Sports Awards.
It was one of two awards scooped by Johnson, who was also named Sportsman of the Year.
The event, organised by the Lincolnshire Sports Partnership, recognises athletes who have succeeded throughout last year and this.
Johnson won gold at the 2010 Commonwealth games in Delhi and has since won his three fights after turning professional.
The Boston fighter is still awaiting his fourth bout, which he hopes will be organised soon.
He has signed a 10-fight deal with promoter Frank Warren.
