CHRIS WRIGHT, British Super Moto 450 quad racing champion, has been presented with his trophy in a ceremony in Barnsley.
The Boston rider wrapped up the title in style by winning the final stage of the championship at Cadwell Park, near Louth, recently.
Chris began racing aged 16 and has had wonderful support over the years from proud mum Julie, dad, brother, cousin and girlfriend Sarah.
They have travelled all over the country with Chris and with a lack of sponsorship this special family togetherness has proved vital to his success.
Speaking to the Standard, Julie said: “It’s all been worth it, we are very proud of him and it’s a great achievement.”
Chris will be back next year to defend his title with the championship starting at Silverstone in March.
Although this will be his main focus, Chris will also be taking part in grass track meetings in 2011.
