BSC 2 continue good start to snooker league

In the Boston Snooker League Super League, BSC 2 continued their good start to the season with a 6-2 win over Cons 1, with stand-out 2-0s for D. Hurling and D. Himsworth over H. Pinner and D. Forbes.

BSC 3 beat BSC 9 by the same scoreline, N. Robertson winning the first two from C. Allwood before C. Ellis and R. Johnson shared the points. An impressive win by A. Swan over M. Wright took the score to 5-1 and the last match saw a good battle between N. Hutson and C. Manning end 1-1.

BSC 5 beat BSC 13 5-3. Three-man BSC raced away to a 5-0 lead before A. Cartwright picked up a point against J. Sharpe. The final match was a walk over for T. Crozier.

In the Premier League, BSC 19 maintained their steady start to the season with a 5-3 win over QC 2. W. Tyson won the first two impressively with a 36 break along the way, and all the rest of the games were drawn 1-1. Graves Park 4 and Cons 2 shared the points, Park ran away to a 4-0 lead courtesy of S. Taylor and T. Himsworth, but A. Coulam and G. Middleton responded well.

BSC 16 and BSC 8 also battled to a 4-4 draw.

Division One saw Cons 4 go top of the league with a 5-3 win over BSC 4, helped by BSC 4 only having three players. There were emphatic wins for S. Richardson and P. Raymond.

BSC 10 got their season off to a good start with a 5-3 win against BSC 6, thanks to three draws and a walkover.

Cons 5 and BSC 11 shared the spoils, with all the games going to the colours.

In Division Two, Cons 3 beat BSC 17 7-1, only P. Lowe taking a frame for BSC as there were 2-0 wins for N. Wainright, T. Morris and G. Johnson.

Kirton Leisure 1 didn’t show up, giving BSC 7 an 8-0 win.
