Christian Slater has finished in fourth place in the Auto Cycle Union National Club-Mans Championship.
The event, hosted by the Derby Phoenix Motor Cycle Club, culminated in action at Cadwell Park over the weekend.
With first and second places already decided, ‘Bomber’ had a chance of a top-three finish, but so did Neil Watson, Dave Norton and Liam Marchant.
Before the weekend, there were only 31 points between all four riders, with 125 points available over five races throughout the weekend.
Christian, riding his Suzuki GSXR1000, finished fourth in race one and fifth in race two.
The track had seen rain prior to the third race on Saturday, but as the track dried, Christian used his part-worn intermediate tyres.
And it paid off, Christian finishing in third place.
By this stage, Watson claimed third place but fourth-place prize money was still up for grabs.
Christian took a third trophy finish in Sunday’s first race, before completing the season with a second-place finish to compound fourth spot overall.
This has been Slater’s best season since starting in the sport in 2004.
Now that the 2012 Season has finished, plans are already in place for 2013.
After his first road race this year at Scarborough, plans are set to race in next year’s Cock O the North and Gold Cup Road Race Meetings. It is also an aim to win the Derby Phoenix Motor Cycle Club’s Championship.
