Kirton racer Aaron Clarke completed a successful test day at Donington Park on Tuesday.
He was putting the Kawasaki through its paces in preparation for the opening round of the National Superstock 600 championship, which gets underway at Brands Hatch over the Easter weekend.
Although he ended the day in an overall position of 44th, he was in a mixed grid of riders in a number of different classes and Aaron was actually 14th in the Superstock 600 class.
He was pleased with his performance and said: “This is a massive step up for me this year as the Superstock 600 championship is very competitive but I was doing ok out there today.
“The bike is really fast and smooth and once we have addressed the few small issues we encountered today and we will continue our testing next week at Snetterton.”
Aaron was at Brands Hatch for the Bemsee club meeting at the weekend, prior to more testing.
The opening round of the championship will be at Brands Hatch over the Easter weekend.
