Dave Coupland has pocketed close to 3,000 Euros in prizemoney after finishing seven-under-par at the Azerbaijan Golf Challenge Open.
Competing at the National Azerbaijan Golf Club in Quba, he finished in joint 20th position.
Coupland completed his first round on the 72-par course on -2 on Thursday, and he ensured he made the cut on Friday, despite carding 73.
However, two excellent rounds onf 70 and 68 on Saturday and Sunday respectively were enough for him to claim a cheque for 2,899 Euros.
The Boston golfer was one of eight players to finish on -7, the others being Connor Arendell (USA), Ben Evans (England), Paul McKechnie (Scotland), Jocke Rask (Sweden), Anthony Snobeck (France), Duncan Stewart (Scotland) and Jeff Winther (Demark).
The event was won by Moritz Lampert, who finished on -16 to win 300,000 Euros.
The next event on the European Challenge Tour calendar is the Norwegian Challenge, beginning at the Miklagard Golf Club on Thursday.
