LEADERS Eastenders dropped two points to second-placed Cosmos as Paul Flatters was pipped at the post by Wayne Phoenix (20-18). In response, Enders’ Andrew Reeson eased home 18-12 for four points.
Keeping up the pressure, third-placed Holland Fen picked up maximum points against Royal Mail, while A40, in fourth, also picked up six points against struggling Freelanders.
Invaders were pushed all the way by Woodhall, but claimed the points, as did Carlton Road against basement side Stumpers. The same scoreline saw Jolly Farmers overcome IBC.

TOP-of-the-table Swineshead eased past rock-bottom Boston Park with wins of 28-9 and 17-12 for skips Fred Scrupps and Pam Dawson.
Second-placed Kirton Town negotiated a tough test against fourth-placed Feathers, claiming maximum points.
With one point separating them in the table, the Golfers versus Punchbowlers game went to the former by just one shot.
Third-placed Strollers lost to Patriarchs by one shot while Patriarchs beat Halfints after winning a rink each, and Breakaways were too strong for Parthians.

LEADERS Amateurs were beaten by the Autos as Alan Bontoft, Daniel Harrison and Norman Wright won 17-16.
In the other rink, Margaret Gardner, Philip Purkiss and Derek Butwright picked up a last end count of three to win 20-19.
Second-placed Crowns had no problems with their game against BBC, picking up all six points.
Burtons pulled off a shock result taking all the points from Highflyers.
Central, in fourth, could only manage to win two points against Fairways after blowing their chance to level on points with the Flyers.
Vikings won all the points from Sibsey and Traders did themselves proud when they defeated Shipmates.

THE ladies’ Yetton Plate team overcame Stamford 83-66.
