Jack Drury is hoping to ride regularly in the British Superstock championship - after making his debut.
The Old Leake rider recently got his first taste of the 600 class at Cadwell Park as a wild card entry.
The leap from club racing to the British Superbike support series is a large step-up, but Jack took his place amongst the 44 riders looking to qualify, with only 36 allowed to take up positions on the starting grid.
Jack (pictured) managed to secure the final position on the grid with his personal best lap time in qualifying, clocking 1.34-6.
He took his position on the start for last Sunday’s race and finished a pleasing 22nd with a fastest lap of 1.34-1.
Jack is now hoping to enter the class next year on a full-time basis.
He began racing in April 2014 in the No Limits (Metzler Newcomers 600 class), where he completed just four rounds out of a possible eight.
Since then he has gone from strength to strength and is now leading the Metzler newcomers class having accumulating 14 wins this season.
Jack is currently being sponsored by G.H. Kime Ltd, Louth Tyre Services, Mark Phillips (motorcycle clothing Lincoln) and Arma Moto.
