Jack Drury will be looking to make an impression at Donington Park this weekend.
The Old Leake rider has been competing in the BSB Superstock 600 this year.
Due to work commitments, Drury was unable to race at Oulton Park this week.
However, he is targeting strong a finish to the season at both Donington and then Brands Hatch next month.
Drury’s latest action was at Cadwell Park overe the August Bank Holiday weekend.
“Going into the Cadwell round for me was a big thing this year after appearing in stock 600 last year as a wildcard in 2015, after only just managing to take the last place on the grid in 2015,” he said.
Despite suffering with arm pump, he placed 24th out of 40 riders in the wet after Q1.
This was followed by completing Q2 in 21st spot.
Race day saw Drury get away with a great straight off the line, gaining a couple of positions.
A battle ensued with a fellow rider.
But with four laps to go, just as Drury was going to make his move, the red flag was shown for an incident behind, causing the race to end.
This saw Drury bring his bike home in 18th, from of 36 riders.
“I was hoping to drop into the points after a promising qualifying two, but we got a new PB and some great wet and dry set up for the bike next time,” Drury added.
