Boston Rowing Club’s Emma Feerick donned her international racing colours on Saturday to represent Ireland in the senior home internationals.
Emma competed against Wales, Scotland and England at Strathclyde.
She took part in a coxed four and an eight on the 2k course.
In rainy conditions her boats came fourth in both of the events.
Boston Rowing Club also sent a large team to St Neots regatta.
There was 1km racing on the Saturday and 500m sprints on the Sunday.
Jaques Garvey, Oliver Tunnard, Dingo Sumerfield and Jeff Elms won in the IM3 4X quad.
Nicole Hendy and Jenna Charman had solid races in their IM3 W1x single sculls.
On Sunday Bunty Blanshard maintained her impressive winning streak after returning from the British Championships the previous week, where she claimed a silver medal.
She was Boston’s only winner of the day in her WJ14 1x single scull.
Finalists on the day, Ruby and Jasmine Latka, were unfortunate to lose out in the final of the WJ14 2x double sculls, whilst the masters C crew of Rob Parker, Pat Burns, Phil Latka and Mark Housam reached two finals in their coxed four (coxed by Lewis Belton) and quadruple sculls but came away empty handed.
Jeff Elms and Jason Scott also made the final of the masters B/C double sculls.
Sam Watson, Lucie Scott, Holly Sauntson and Madisone Lamb unfortunately caught a crab during their final coxed by Lewis Belton.
Other competitors who competed were Nathan Simpson (gaining his first Boston cap) with Jack Collins in the J14 2X double, Nicole Hendy in IM3 1XPolly and Saffy Summerfield WJ18 2x, and Holly Sauntson and Sam Watson in the WJ14 2x double.
Boston are away this coming weekend with 24 entries placed in the draw for the Peterborough Regatta.
