Boston and District AC’s Fallon Lafferty maintained her place in the top positions in the Lincolnshire Cross Country League.
Finishing third in the match held at Riseholme and running in the Junior, Senior, Veteran Women’s event over 5,200m of varied terrain, Fallon again hit the front from the outset and maintained her early momentum to enter the finish funnel in third place, recording 24 mins 49 secs.
Fallon has finished in the top four positions in all three of the 2014 series of Lincolnshire League League matches so far and is in line for a county league award if she carries this into the final race of the series at Louth on December 7.
In the Senior Men’s race James Roark was 63rd at the end of a lengthy 9,600m, which competitors described as more like an 11K challenge, clocking just under the hour.
In the under 13 boys’ race Shane Canham responded well to the challenge to claim 12th place in a field of 17 finishers.
Three young BADAC representatives lined up on the start line for the under 11 boys and girls’ over 1,500m of sticky country.
