Two Boston Amateur Boxing Club fighters were beaten in the Amateur Boxing Association championships this week.
Akeem Lemoth and Andy Waters were both competing in Leicester in the 10 bouts and under sections of their respective weights on Sunday.
Both fought in the 90k+ category.
Lemoth suffered a points defeat while Waters was stopped in the third, having already fought two days earlier.
On that Friday night card in Wisbech Waters missed out on a split decision.
Fellow Boston fighter Aaron Johnson also missed out on a decision that night.
In action at a Tom HIll ABC show in Doncaster were Boston’s Callum Parker and Ronnie Goddard.
Parker boxed well but was the wrong side of a split decision, while Goddard was stopped in the first round.
