BOSTON fighter Callum Johnson earned his fifth straight win since turning pro last night - stopping Doncaster’s James Tucker.
Johnson, 26, became only the third fighter to stop The Slugger in his 59 professional bouts.
And he did so in style, showing why he is becoming one of the rising stars in the light heavyweight division.
In his first fight over four rounds, Johnson - nicknamed The One - kept his opponent at bay with his neat jab before landing a flurry of blows to finish his opponent off in the seventh.
The fight was switched to from Oldham Sports Centre to Bowers, Trafford a day before Friday’s event.
But that didn’t affect Commonwealth Games gold medallist Johnson, who trains at Manchester’s Gallagher’s Gym.
This was Johnson’s third stoppage, having previously finished off Philip Townley and Tommy Tolan early.
He has also defeated Lee Duncan and Jody Meikle.
