SNETTERTON brought success to both G&S/Team Green riders - and now the duo are looking to repeat that at Oulton Park.

Tom Fisher secured eighth position in the sixth round of the Metzeler National Superstock 600 championship while Jono Howarth rode to a personal best of ninth in the Superstock 1000 event.

Now both riders are keen to add to their points tally in Cheshire this weekend.

On the second visit to Oulton Park this year, Fisher and Howarth will be hoping for a better run than at the earlier meeting.

Howarth was still recovering from injuries and then was given a ride-through penalty after being deemed to have jumped the start.

However, he is now fully fit and raring to go.

“I certainly won’t be making the same mistake,” said Howarth.

“I am encouraged by the results from Snetterton and want more of the same so I will make sure I remain stationary until the lights go out.”

Fisher ended up crashing out of the race back in May.

Although he did manage to get back on track he was so far behind that it wasn’t worth continuing and he retired to the pits after eight laps.

He said: “I was right in the thick of the action and challenging for fifth place but went down at Shell.

“It is encouraging that I was up near the front of the action and I hope to be up there again this weekend and to score another top 10 result.”

Free practice and qualifying take place on Friday and Saturday ahead of racing on Sunday.

The 14-lap Superstock 1000 event is scheduled for 1.45pm, with the Superstock 600 race to run over 12 laps at 5.20pm.
