Wyberton-based G&S Racing Kawasaki will be in action at Snetterton this weekend.

In the last round at Knockhill, Dominic Usher scored his best result of the season in the National Superstock 1,000 championship.

Tom Fisher will be contesting the National Superstock 600 round at Snetterton and, after moving up into the top 10 at Knockhill, he will be seeking a good result to boost his points tally and move further up the rider standings.

However, third rider Dave Ferns has reluctantly left the team for the foreseeable future because of a recurring shoulder injury.

He said: “I have been struggling with strength in the shoulder all season, but had gone faster than ever before at each circuit this year and was beginning to improve my fitness.

“I was unfortunate to crash at Snetterton last week and the consultant has told me I need to now give the shoulder more time to heal.”

Team manager Mark Fisher added: “Now that Dave has left us we have a seat available within the team and would ask that any interested Superstock rider who would like to join us to contact me on 07711 048362 to discuss further.”

Free practice for both classes takes place at Snetterton on Friday morning, followed by first qualifying in the afternoon with final qualifying on Saturday morning.

The 600cc race is first on track on Sunday and will run over 12 laps at 11.15am, while the 1,000 riders race over 14 laps on Sunday afternoon at 2.15pm.
