THE three-man Kawasaki Team Green/G&S Racing squad of Tom Fisher, Jonathan Howarth and Tom Young head to Oulton Park for the third round of the Metzeler National Superstock 600 and 1000 championship at the weekend.

Tom Fisher has started the season well and will be hoping for another top-10 result from round three to keep him in touch with the series leader in the Superstock 600 class.

His teammate in the class, Tom Young, will be looking for his first finish of the new season after having to pull out of the Thruxton race with arm pump and crashing on the treacherous Brands Hatch tarmac in the opening round.

Last year, at the May Day Bank Holiday meeting at Oulton Park, Young brought the bike home in a fine 11th place and he will be looking to replicate this on Monday.

Jonathan Howarth will be contesting the third round of the Superstock 1000 championship and seeking his first championship points of the year. Last season at this time he was carrying an injury from his crash at Brands Hatch and even though he was in considerable pain bravely decided to race.

He completed the race in 25th place and will be looking for a much better outcome this time around.

The weekend kicks off with free practice and the first qualifying session on Saturday for both classes.

Final qualifying takes place on Sunday afternoon ahead of racing on Monday when the 14-lap Superstock 600 race is set for a start at 1.45pm and the 1000cc race also run over 14 laps is due on track at 4.50pm.
