Wyberton’s G&S Racing Kawasaki team were at Oulton Park over the weekend to contest the third round of the National Superstock 1000 and 600 championships.
Tom Fisher finishing his race in 22nd place and Kevin Van Leuven scored three championship points for 13th place in the Stock 600 race.
Fisher had been struggling all weekend with front-end set up and the bike just did not gel with the demanding Oulton Park circuit, but he persevered throughout the race to bring the bike back home safely in 22nd place in ther Superstock 1000 race.
Van Leuven struggled in first qualifying because of the wet conditions and lost vital set up time.
But final qualifying was run in the dry on Sunday and he was able to post some relatively fast times.
He was able to run the pace with no problem and was circulating as fast as the front runners but starting from 17th he was never going get on terms with the leaders.
He was also posting lap times faster than ever before which was a boost for him.
The next round is at Donington Park, where both classes will run as a support to the World Superbike championship on May 24.
