Crista Cullen and Hannah Macleod have helped Great Britain to finish seventh at the Hockey World League Final in Rosario, Argentina.
The two Boston-born players competed in the seventh/eighth place match against South Korea on Saturday.
Macleod joined Nicola White (two), Ellie Watton and Helen Richardson-Walsh on the scoresheet in a 5-1 victory.
Cullen is now calling on the team to improve ahead of next year’s Olympics.
She said: “We must now go back and review and understand what happened.
“There was a culmination of errors as to why we didn’t get a semi-final spot. We need to be hard on ourselves and learn from the mistakes.
“Come Rio we must be on the right end of the scoreline.”
The duo also featured in Thursday’s 2-1 defeat to New Zealand and last Tuesday’s 1-0 victory against Australia’s Hockeyroos - Richardson-Walsh scoring in both the 2-1 loss and 1-0 success.
