HOLLAND Fen have one the Boston Indoor Bowls League’s Division One title.
They did so with a 5-1 victory over Carlton Road, grabbing more than the four points they needed to assure winning the championship.
Chelsea Tomlin, Alex Tomlin and Martin Tomlin tied 17-17 against the Road’s Geoff Parker, Bazza Wilson and Gary Morris.
However, Mick Tomlin’s rink won 26-14 to claim the championship.
Second-placed Eastenders needed all six points to be in with a shout of retaining their title.
They won all six against A40, but this season they had to settle for second.
In Division Two, Stumpers were grateful the league title was safely in their hands before they played this week as they fell on both rinks to Norprint.
Meanwhile, Boston Park grabbed the three points they needed to win the Division Three title, but going down 4-2 to Vikings.
Michael Penfold’s rink won 19-15 for the vital points.
Sibsey had a chance of upsetting the Park, but couldn't claim maximum points from their double week, losing 6-0 to Burtons and 4-2 against Central.
