Only three points now separate BSC 1 and Shodfriars 20 at the top of the Boston Snooker League’s Super League.

BSC 1 beat BSC 13 5-3, with Brian Cox and Steve Hallworth recording victories and Craig Fitter sharing the points with Paul Oyitch. Joe Welch won the last two for the 13.

Shodfriars 20 kept up the pressure with a 6-2 win over BSC 5. Ady Young and Tom Hill both won, with Carl Rowe and John Sharpe drawing with B. Howden and Darren Christian.

BSC 9 recorded their second win of the season, beating Cons 1 5-3. Ron Johnson won for the 9, with the other matches all tied.

All bar one of the games in the BSC 3 versus BSC 2 contest were drawn. But the 3’s Neil Hutson won to secure a 5-3 success.

In the Premier League, BSC 19 earned a 6-2 win over BSC 16. Dave Cutting and Brett Skinner drew with Will Tyson and Luke Christian, before Nick Harwood and Robin Alexander both won.

BSC 12 beat Cons 2 7-1 as Graham Day, Alan Laws and Alan Peck won, while Eamon Taylor and Gary Middleton drew.

BSC opened up a 16-point lead at the top of Division One, following a 7-1 win over BSC 6. P.J. Smith, Luke Arons and Perry Pagden were victorious while Ronnie Goddard and Mike Deal drew.

Cons 5 beat Shodfriars 3 5-3 as Alan Haycock beat J. Ely and the rest of the macthes were drawn.

Cons 4 and BSC 10 drew 4-4. J. Clarke beat Jimmy Birtwhistle, J. Traves then lost to Liam South, and the last two games were drawn.

Division Two’s action saw Cons 3 close the gap at the top with a 6-2 win over Kirton Leisure. T. Morris and Graham Johnson won at the expense of S. Fletcher and A. Bradshaw, with the other games drawn.

Q Club 3 and West End Bowls played out a draw, which leaves them both mid-table. Dave Cartwright and R. Mason drew, Chris Maltby beat D. Green, Jason Cuppleditch and C. Mason drew before A. Horry beat Stu Holland.
