Fourteen ladies played an 18-hole stableford competition.

Jenny returned with a score of 34 stableford points, pushing Hilary Calvert into second place on a countback.

Outgoing Lady Captain Janet Read and past Club Captain Lee Francis recently handed over a cheque for £4,200 to Daphne and Nigel Simpson, representing the Alzheimer’s Society.

The money was raised during the two captains’s year in office, which included Daphne and Nigel topping up the funds by trekking 96 miles on the Highland Walk.
