Boston Tennis Club youngsters have been enjoying success in the Lincolnshire Winter Junior Team League.
Boston A team played Sleaford and won 6-0 on Saturday.
Playing in the red team were James Gedney, Emily Stukins, Joshua Brooks and Finley Mackey, while the orange team’s Will Shears and James Burrell competently held the line.
The newly-introduced under 12 (rating restricted) category saw some good performances from Alastair Boothby, Ted Shears and Alex Pinchin.
The Boston B team had a very close match with Horncastle although the red players - Jacob Felipes, Poppy Gibbons, Georgina Cameron and William Pettitt - were narrowly beaten.
At orange level, Boston’s Paul Aranin and Lilia Halyova won three out of the four singles to gain the overall team victory.
In the under 12 category, brothers Max and Thomas Mecklenburgh won 4-2.
Boston’s Men’s team beat Grantham 8-0 in the Lincolnshire Slazenger Veterans League, Ray Frankish, Chris Cook, James Newton and Jeremy George-Jones finishing victorious.
In the Boston and District Winter League, Boston B ended Boston C’s long unbeaten streak.
In what could play a part in which team lifts the title, Geoff Short, Calum Simmons, Sam Borbe and David Cheer beat James Newton, Ryan Frankish, Anthony Hulley and Dan Bambridge 5-3.
