Hannah Macleod looks poised to win her 50th cap for Great Britain... after being named in the squad to compete in a six-test series in Australia.

She is one of two Boston-born hockey players in the squad, with Crista Cullen also receiving a call-up to the 22-player squad.

Macleod, is currently on 45 caps and could well reach the landmark Down Under.

Great Britain will face Australia six times over the course of the series, with the first match set to take place on February 12.

The series is preparation for this year’s Champions Trophy in London and the Olympics in Rio in August, where Australia and Great Britain are in the same pool.

Shona McCallin and Georgie Twigg will complete the quartet of Yellowbelly athletes in the squad.
