COMMONWEALTH Games boxing champion Callum Johnson was honoured with a civic reception this week.
The Boston fighter won a gold medal for Scotland in Delhi late last year.
And his achievement saw him praised by Boston Borough Council on Thursday, as they held a bash at the Municipal Buildings in his honour.
Mayor of Boston Coun Peter Jordan quipped that, although Johnson makes fighting look easy, he can’t stop it appearing painful.
The One – as he is nicknamed – is currently in training for his second professional bout, after defeating Northern Irishman Phillip Townley in December.
