There is a full schedule coming up for all of the teams entered in to the Lincolnshire Mini Tennis Winter Indoor League.
The matches will run throughout the remainder of the year and into the start of spring and will feature in a slightly different format to previous years.
Boston has several teams, but instead of having a combined team of red, orange and green - players every age group and colour will stand alone.
At the youngest age group the red players – eight and under have already played their team’s first matches.
The Boston A team - James Gedney, William Pettitt, Jacob Felipes and Poppy Gibbons - beat Horncastle without dropping a rubber.
The Boston Red B team – Ryan Tasker, James Winter, Jacob Felipes and William Pettitt - missed out to both Tealby and Eastgate, but gained some valuable match experience.
At Orange level, Paul Aranin and James Gedney played for the Boston A team.
They lost out to Grantham Orange A team and had a very close encounter with Boston Orange B team – William Pettitt and Jacob Felipes - but won through.
Jacob and William also played Horncastle and won this fixture without conceding a rubber.
There were some strong performances from Boston Green A team as Isabel Wookey and Lois Boothby had a 3-0 win over Rustons and then beat Boston Green C team 3-0.
Competing for Boston Green C team were Robbie Townsend and Daniels Goreliks, and they were rewarded for their efforts with a 2-1 win against St James in the Green C team’s second match of the day.
The Boston and District Winter League starts up on Sunday morning and the current Champions, Boston B, will have a close eye on defending their title.
Boston B will play Billinghay whilst runners-up Boston C will be away at Horncastle.
Boston A will have an inter club fixture against Boston E and Boston D will face Boston F.
