Swineshead man Nick Padley is revving up for Sunday’s London Marathon to support the Butterfly Hospice.
Nick, of Adrian Padley Motors, has been running for several years and last year was lucky enough to secure a place in the marathon
This year he gained an automatic place and decided that he wanted to raise money for a local charity.
Davina Hellon head of volunteering at the Butterfly Hospice said: “We take our hat off to Nick, for firstly getting an automatic place in the London Marathon and secondly for wanting to raise money for a local charity.
“There are many worthwhile organisations that benefit from the sponsorship money pledged to runners of the London Marathon and we are delighted to be one of those. We wish him all the best.”
