No toying around as Pam hits Holme hole in one

PAMELA Toy has hit a hole-in-one at Kirton Holme Golf Club.

She did so on the par three 143-yard sixth hole.

Adding to her success, she won the monthly stableford with 40 points, ahead of Yvonne Prior (34) and Marlene Morris (33), also receiving a handicap reduction

A friendly at Coningsby Ladies saw the hosts win.

The annual Seniors and Ladies’ mixed 18-hole matchplay competition was held, with the B Team coming out on top.

The Sunday Medal was won by Vee King, with a nett 74, gross 90. Second was Jackie Ward (84/75) and third was Margaret Johns (96/75).

The Tuesday Medal was won by Marlene Morris (67/84), who received a handicap cut.

Second place was Margaret Harrison (96/73) and third was Mavis Ablard (97/75).

The Sandra Chester Trophy, is awarded to the highest-placed category five player each month. The latest winner is Penny Wainwright, taking the title from previous winner Rosemary Bell.

The Jean Cook Trophy saw Jackie Ward and Jean Cook defeat Marlene Morris and Jane Graylingfor the trophy.

In the Lady Captain’s Knockout Competition Marlene Morris got the better of Penny Wainwright in the final.

The Captains’ Cup competition (ladies versus men) saw the men retaining the trophy.
