Many of Great Britain’s top rowers returned to the Witham this weekend.
Boston Rowing Club once again hosted the latest GB open assessments from their Carlton Road Boathouse, as international hopefuls took on the 5k course aiming to impress.
Alex Gregory and Mo Sbihi recorded the fastest time in the M2 openweight 5k assessment, with Charles Cousins claiming the fastest time in the M1 category - pipping Olympian Alan Campbell, who finished in second spot.
In the open W1 category, World and European champion Helen Glover had the quickest time.
In second was Olympic gold medallist and six-time world champion Katherine Grainger, who is returning to the sport following a two-year break from the sport.
The women’s lightweight section was won by Charlotte Taylor, who only took up rowing three years ago.
Olympic champion Kat Copeland was missing from this section due to illness.
The men’s lightweight section saw Richard Chambers come out on top.
