The ladies of Boston Golf Club played in the Ping 4BBB, a pairs stableford betterball competition.
Jacquie Short and Joan Young won with 40 stableford points, and they hope to have enough points to qualify for the final at Gainsborough which is played at a later date.
The runners-up were Marita Jordan and Barbara Unwin, who scored 37 points.
Jane Bratley and Ann Hodgson finished third on 36 points.
The June Frankish Trophy, a stableford competition affectionately known as the Granny Trophy because only grandmothers can claim the trophy, was played as a stableford format.
Lady Captain Hilary Calvert was the overall winner with 40 points, but as she was not eligible to win the trophy the prize went home with Pam Hyde, who scored 36 points.
Barbara Unwin was third with 35 points.
The Bronze Division travelled to Woodhall Spa to play a friendly match, with the hosts winning 3-1.
Boston Ladies also hosted the league team from Spalding, the Boston team winning all four matches.
The ladies’ league team then played away at Stoke Rochford and, on this occasion, lost every match to the hosts on what turned out to be the hottest day of the year so far
