Qualifying is more crucial

Aaron Clarke will head off to Kent for the second round of the National Superstock 600 championship, which takes place at Brands Hatch on the short and technical Indy circuit over the weekend.

Clarke, from Kirton, was unlucky to find himself down in 42nd place in qualifying for the opening round at Donington Park.

Although he was well within the qualifying time, he missed out on the race as only the top 40 riders were permitted on the starting grid.

This time qualifying will be even more crucial as the Brands Hatch Indy circuit has few passing places.

The practice grids have been split into two groups - odd and even numbers.

As Aaron races as number 33 his group is scheduled to go first.

Timetable (subject to change): Friday - 9am free practice, 1.25pm first qualifying; Saturday - 11.55am final qualifying; Sunday - 11.01 warm up, 5.15pm Race 22 laps.
