Rose Clapton from Cranwell Bowls Club has lifted the Stan Hargreaves Trophy for the second consecutive year.
This popular Woodhall and District Friendly League event was this year hosted by the Mareham Le Fen Bowls Club on Wednesday afternoon.
Inaugurated in 2009, the Stan Hargreaves Trophy serves as a memorial to a long serving and faithful contributor to the sport of lawn bowls in Lincolnshire and a keen supporter of the Woodhall and District Friendly League.
Rose retained the trophy in competition with more than 50 bowlers from all over the county who took part in a fun afternoon on one of the newest and finest greens in the area.
The event was keenly competitive, as always, but played in the tradition associated with the Woodhall Spa and District Friendly League in which all the participating players compete throughout the season.
Refreshments were provided and served by the host club. All proceeds raised by the event will be donated to charities in the area.
