Boston Rowing Club claimed four victories at the Ancholme Rowing Club Head of the River race at Brigg.
Adam Berry earned two successes over the 2.7k course, winning the single scull IM2 1X (12 mins 49 secs) and the coxless pairs IM3 2X (11 mins 38 secs), with a partner from Lincoln.
Twins Polly and Saffy Summerfield, in the WJ14 2X B category (14 mins 28 secs), and Will Campion, in the J18 1X single scull (12 mins 29 secs), were also victorious, ensuring captain Jeff Elms returned to Boston very satisfied.
Berry recorded two category wins in both the mornings first
Double scull pairing Jody McNichol and Matt Adams made their maiden voyage, and came second (13 mins 16 secs).
Joe Burns recorded a time of 13 mins 57 secs in a strong junior boys J16 1X single scull debut.
The men’s heavyweight quad (masters C 4X), with Mark Housam at bow, David Raine at two, Pat Burns at three and Adrian Apletree at stroke, finished second in 11 mins 38 secs.
Adrian Apletree competed for his second row of the day in a single scull IM3 1X, producing a time of 13 mins 02 secs.
