Boston Rowing Club’s squad enjoyed two days of fabulous action this weekend at the St Neots Regatta.

Jacques Gavey and Madison Lambe both moved up several categories from their usual junior set-ups to row against adults in the Mx IM2 2X.

And the young pretenders very nearly claimed the victory of the day, losing out on the finish line by an inch.

Saturday saw wins for twins Ruby and Jasmine Latka in the WJ15 2X and Jacques Gavey and Oliver Tunnard in J16 2X.

On Sunday there were more wins and plenty other club members going through to their finals on a very sunny day.

Junior Haven Middleton-Horner took his first win for sculling in J13 1X and Harry James and Oliver Tunnard were first in the J16 2X.

Twins Polly and Saffy Summerfield teamed up with the Latkas to compete in the WJ18 4x and take a win with some very beautiful rowing.

Pat Burns and Phil Latka earned a win for the adult squad in the Nov 2x category.

Boston Rowing Club will be hosting the annual Lincoln to Boston Marathon, which has been running every year since 1946, on September 18.

The 31-mile long marathon will see the club is open for spectators or anyone wanting to come along and watch.
