Ben Wilson travels to Kent for the final round of the 2013 British Supersport championship at Brands Hatch this weekend.
The Lincolnshire ace, from Kirton, will be anxious to score two strong results in an effort to recapture his third place in the rider standings.
Wilson currently lies fourth on 303 points, but is just 11 points shy of Billy McConnell, who holds the third place spot.
But McConnell will be out to defend the position and won’t be giving up without a fight.
Even if Wilson is unable to overtake him, the worst he can do is to finish in fourth place.
Graeme Gowland, in fifth, is too far behind to overhaul him.
The action begins on Friday with two free practice sessions.
The first isat 9.30am, followed by free practice two at 1.55pm.
The solitary qualifying session takes place on Saturday at 10.25am, and that will set the grid for the 10-lap sprint race which is scheduled for 4.20pm.
The final race of the season is the 18-lap feature race on Sunday, and that is due on track at the earlier time of 1.30pm - and will decide the final championship positions.
“We have two more races left at Brands Hatch, and I will be going all out for two strong results,” said Gearlink Kawasaki rider Wilson.
