In the Boston Snooker League Super League, Shodfriars 20 moved into second place in the league with a 6-2 win over current league leaders BSC 13.

Darren Christian, Daley Richardson and Carl Rowe were the matchwinners, while Joe Welch replied with a win over Tom Hill.

BSC 3 continued their steady start to the season with a 5-3 win over Cons 1.

Mark Day lost the first, Chris Ellis and Neil Robinson then both won and Andy Swan drew.

BSC 5 and BSC 1 only completed six games, with BSC 1 winning five of them.

BSC 2 were the victors against BSC 9, Carl Manning beating Pete Grooby, Mark Ferguson losing to the in-form Beef Hurling, Robert Johnson going down to Dan Himsworth and Chrissie Allwood and Lee Ford drawing.

In the Premier League, BSC 19 moved back up to second place in the league with a 6-2 win over BSC 8.

Will Tyson beat Steve Greensmith, Luke Christian and Shaun Dunmore shared the points, as did Robin Alexander and Adam Norton, while John Neary beat Gary Dunmore.

Q Club 2 beat BSC 16 5-3. Big wins came for Julian Furnell and Louis Wong against Roy Skinner and Stan Matthews, while Jamie Brinkley and Dave Cutting shared the points and Paul Spencer beat Andy Bush 2-0.

Graves Park 4 continued their good start to the season with a 5-3 win over BSC 12, Mark Tabor beating Graham Day before Eamon Taylor levelled things up. S. Wood and John Palmer then drew before Scott Simpson beat Alan Laws.

League leaders Q Club 1 were held to a 4-4 draw by Cons 2, Nathan Barton drawing with Dale Sawyer, Barry Cox losing to Dave Whyler, Craig Lee drawing with G. Middleton and Chris Taylor beating K. Carrington.

Taylor’s two frames included a 53 break in the first frame followed by a 75 break in the second. Chris missed the pink before then then clearing the balls with a 57 break.

Division One saw BSC 6 beat Cons 4 5-3.

The first three matches were all draws before R. Cartwright beat D. Nundy.

Shodfriars 3 and BSC 11 drew 4-4. John Vines beat Craig Churchman 2-0, R. Crunkhorn and M. Bradbury drew, as did Colin Woodcock and Adam Gurton, while C. Hirst beat J. Ely.

BSC 4 and BSC 10 also played out a draw - PJ Smith continuing his good form with a win over Andy Upsall, Carl Bailey levelling things up with a 2-0 over Phil Dawson, Luke Arons beating Dan Burt and Liam South beating Ronnie Goddard.

In Division Two, Kirton Leisure beat BSC 17 5-3.

Ian Parnell beat Jim Hartley and the rest of the matches finished all square.

Graves Park 3 beat West End 6-2, M. and J. Hodgson drawing with R. Mason and D. Green, G. Hall and J. Clarke sealing the deal with wins over C. Mason and A. Horry.

Cons 3 and BSC 7 shared the points. T. Morris drew with D. Banks, N. Wainwright lost to Tyler Roberts, R. Carter beat R. Carter to level the match and the final two games saw the points shared.
