Gearlink Kawasaki rider Ben Wilson will returns to one of his favourite circuits for round seven of the British Supersport Championships.
The Kirton rider will contest the two races at Cheshire’s Oulton Park circuit this weekend.
After a problamatic weekend in May, when a crash during qualifying put him out of the sprint race, Wilson will be hoping for a change of luck to enable him to record two top results on his second visit of the year to the circuit.
Wilson is currently lying third in the overall rider standings, and two strong results at Oulton could see him edge nearer to the series lead.
At the halfway stage, Wilson’s teammate Alastair Seeley is in first with 250 points, with Stuart Easton second on 210.
Wilson has 189 points after six rounds.
The weekend’s action starts on Friday when he takes to the track at 9.30am for free practice, and returns again at 1.35pm for a second session.
Qualifying is scheduled for 11.40am on Saturday, followed by the 10-lap Sprint race at 3.25pm.
On Sunday, the 15-lap feature race is on track at 3.50pm and is due to benefit from live television coverage on British Eurosport 2.
