Dominic Beesley and Victoria Needham are the Boston Tennis Club’s men’s and ladies’ singles champions.
The club’s championships, sponsored by Chattertons, Boston tennis Club Championships, culminated on Sunday.
Dominic beat younger brother Henry in the final, winning the third set 7-5.
Henry had beaten Richard Cook in three sets in his semi, with Dominic comfortably progressing past Callum Simmons 6-1, 6-0.
Victoria beat Sue Burnett to claim the ladies’ title in three sets.
Sue beat Joan Beale in her semi, while Victoria Needham overcame Emma Mastin.
However, Emma won the girls’ singles, beating Victoria Beardsley in the final 6-0, 7-6.
Henry Beesley is the boys’ singles winner and Zach McDonnell-Woods the runner-up.
The ladies’ doubles final saw Emily and Sophie Hawkesworth win two tie-breaks to pip Linda Barrow and Claire Smith.
Richard Cook and Steve Green won an entertaining men’s doubles final, coming from a set down to beat the Beesleys.
Simon Bush and Alex Cobb overcame James Newton and Anthony Hulley to win the veteran men’s doubles, with Linda Barrow and Claire Smith winning the ladies’ equivalent, beating Rachel Gedney and Sue Burnett.
Other club champions are Paris Royal (mini green girls), Matthew Gedney (mini green boys), William Cheer (mini orange boys, mini red boys), Louise Sharp (mini orange girls) and Serena Morrow (mini red girls).
