After a six-week break in the calendar to allow for the NW200 and the Isle of Man TT races, Ben Wilson is set to return to the track.
The Kirton rider will compete in the British Supersport championship at Snetterton in Norfolk this Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
After the last round at Oulton Park, Wilson is lying in sixth place in the rider standings on 50 points, having registered a sixth place finish in all but one of his six races to date - he suffered a crash in the Sprint race at Oulton Park - and he will be seeking to move further up the order this time around in his two races at Snetterton.
Wilson has been training hard in the six-week break in the gym and cycling and is as fit as he will ever be to take on the challenge.
He rode well in his debut at the North West 200 road races last month, recording 11th and ninth in the two Supersport races, and this will have boosted his morale as he heads to Norfolk this week.
On Friday he begins free practice at 9.35am, followed by more free practice at 2pm.
Saturday will see qualifying begin at 11.40am, with the sprint race over 10 laps beginning at 5.15pm.
Following Sunday’s 10.10am warm-up, Wilson will contest the 15-lap feature race at 3.40pm.
