Boston’s Chris Taylor has reached the final of the National Billiards Championship.

He will face Phil Mumford (Bury St Edmunds) in the final round of what was formerly the CIU Championship.

Mumford, the 2012 champion and last year’s runner-up, compiled eight centuries in just five hours’ play in the round-robin and semi-final stages at Grantham Snooker and Pool Club.

The pair will do battle over four hours during the EASB finals weekend at Northern Snooker Club, Leeds, on June 7-8.
